Joulé Gives Back

Joulé Gives Back is a philanthropic program to help us focus on giving back to the local community. Headquartered in Edison with over 45 years in business, Joulé strives to give back to the people of New Jersey. Our outreach initiative includes ongoing projects, like working with the National Guard transition team in Bordentown to match veterans and their families with employment opportunities. In addition, we support a local group’s charity effort each quarter. We recently collected over 45 prom gowns and accessories for One Simple Wish, and we’re excited we could give so many local girls a chance to feel like a princess and enjoy their prom night.

Joulé looks forward to continuing to give back to the community with new projects each quarter. Check back often for updates on Joulé’s charity efforts!

Joulé Staffing Solutions Builds Hope & Homes for NJ Veterans Employees gear up for Community Hope’s Twelfth Annual Flag Day 5K and One Mile Walk to provide housing and support for homeless veterans on Thursday, June 13th at 7pm. Learn more and join the JSS team now.	Donation Made to Eleventh Hour Rescue Employees lent a paw for Eleventh Hour Rescue, a volunteer based, non profit, 501c3 organization that saves cats and dogs from being euthanized. Donated items included cleaning supplies and much needed food, along with gift cards. Jackie Hayes, Branch Manager, has been a volunteer with the organization for the past four years.	Book Drive for Young Readers The 5th grade students of Winfield Scott School No. 2 in Elizabeth, NJ compiled a list of books they were interested in, and Joulé delivered. Children's Home Society of NJ This holiday season, Joulé Staffing Solutions is working to feed children in need. Joulé is raising funds through the collection of gift cards to donate to The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey. Find out more about the initiative here. Assistance Program Launched to Aid in Sandy Relief Joulé has initiated an assistance program to aid the local New Jersey communities that they serve. Branches have chosen to assistant at warming stations, shelters and food banks with both supplies and volunteers. Find out more about the relief effort here. Hope Center in Jersey City, NJ thanks JSS for their donation.	Beez Foundation's Duck Race Joulé is proud to sponsor the Beez Foundation’s Duck Race at New Brunswick’s Raritan River Festival on September 23rd in Boyd Park, The Duck Race is orchestrated by the Beez Foundation in support of their mission to raise funds and support pediatric brain cancer research. Hope for the Warriors Join Joulé on May 6th, 2012 in the Run for the Warriors, a local community fundraiser to support our nation's wounded service members who have been injured in the global war on terror. Project Prom Many local girls will fulfill their dream of feeling like a princess at prom thanks to Joulé Staffing Solutions and One Simple Wish's Project Prom. Joulé solicited support from their clients and branches throughout NJ for donations of prom gowns, shoes and jewelry. Read more on Joule's donation to Project Prom.


Employment Opportunities for NJ Veterans Joulé has worked with the transition team at the National Guard Armory in Bordentown, providing weekly postings of immediately available jobs across the state. Joulé has also taken an active role in career fairs across NJ to attract veterans for open positions. Read more on the veteran employment initiative.	Saint Peter's Orphanage The elves at Joulé contacted Saint Peter's to see what ways they could help the organization and its residents this holiday season. The orphanage supplied a list of stores to which gift cards would be greatly appreciated. Read more about the gift card donation.
